Choice City Locksmith

Choice City Locksmith is a mobile locksmith that works across Fort Collins, Colorado. The business is built around coming to the customer: a locked front door, a car parked at a trailhead with the keys inside, or a shop that will not open in the morning are all handled on site rather than at a counter across town. Calls are answered from 5 AM until 9 PM every day, including weekends.

Most residential calls fall into a few groups. The first is the plain lockout, where someone has stepped outside and the door has closed behind them. The second is the new homeowner or renter who has no idea how many copies of the old keys are still out there. For that situation a rekey is usually the practical answer. The pins inside the existing cylinder are changed, the old keys stop working, and a new set is cut to match. The third group is worn or failing hardware: deadbolts that stick, knobs that wobble, or locks that were simply never very good. Those are replaced rather than repaired.

Vehicle calls are mostly lockouts. Keys end up on the driver seat, in the trunk, or in a jacket that is already inside the car. The job is to get the owner back into the vehicle without damage and on with their day.

Commercial customers in Fort Collins tend to need the same services at a larger scale. A small office or store that has had staff turnover often wants every exterior lock rekeyed so former employees no longer have working keys. Busy doors also wear out their hardware faster than a home door does, so replacement is common.

Before a visit it helps to know the address, the kind of lock or vehicle involved, and what happened. That information lets the locksmith bring the right tools and explain what the job will involve before arriving.
