Listing Guidelines

BioneersLive is a directory for customers first. People come here to find a dentist, a caterer, a software agency or a shop they can trust, and every listing on the site either helps them do that or gets in their way. These guidelines explain what we publish, what we decline, and how we review listings. They apply to free and paid plans alike; paying for a plan buys more listings and better placement, never an exemption from review.

How review works

Every new listing is read by a member of our team before it appears on the site. Most are reviewed within 24 hours. When a listing is approved it goes live straight away and you will see it marked Live in your dashboard. If it needs changes, it stays Pending review and the dashboard tells you what is missing. You can edit and resubmit as many times as you like.

Edits to a listing that is already live are published immediately, but we re-check listings that are reported by visitors and run regular sweeps of the directory. A listing that no longer meets these guidelines is taken offline until it is fixed.

What every listing needs

A real business, product or service. The business must exist and be reachable. A website, phone number, email address or physical address must work.
At least 150 words of original description. Tell customers what you offer, who it is for, where you operate, what it costs or how pricing works, and why people choose you. Write it for a person, not a search engine.
At least one real photo. Your premises, your team, your products or your work. Logos are fine as a second image, but stock photos alone are not.
The right category and location. Pick the category that best describes the main thing you do and the city or region you actually serve.
An honest title. Use your business name, optionally followed by a short description such as “Dental clinic in Pune”. Do not stuff the title with keywords or city lists.

What we decline

Copied text. Descriptions pasted from your own website, another directory or a competitor. Search engines and customers both treat duplicate text as low value. Write something fresh for BioneersLive.
Keyword lists and doorway listings. Several near-identical listings for the same business with only the city or keyword changed. One business, one listing per real location.
Link-only listings. Listings that exist mainly to place a link, with little information for a visitor. Links to your own website and social profiles are welcome as part of a genuine listing; they are marked nofollow.
Prohibited categories. Adult services, gambling and betting, recreational drugs and unlicensed pharmacies, weapons and ammunition, tobacco and vaping products, fake documents, hacking services, “black magic” and spell services, essay mills, and get-rich-quick or investment-doubling schemes.
Misleading claims. Fake reviews, invented awards, guaranteed results in medicine, finance or law, or prices that do not match what customers will be charged.
Placeholder content. “Coming soon”, lorem ipsum, test listings or listings with no way to contact the business.

Writing a description that gets approved

The fastest approvals come from descriptions that answer the questions a customer would ask on the phone. A useful structure is:

What you do, in one or two plain sentences.
Your main products or services, with a short note on each.
Who you serve: households, small businesses, specific industries, age groups.
Where you operate: your neighbourhood, delivery area, or whether you work remotely.
How it works: booking, opening hours, typical turnaround, how pricing is set.
Why customers choose you: experience, certifications, guarantees you actually honour.

Reporting a listing

If you find a listing that is fake, out of date, misleading or in a prohibited category, please contact us with the listing link and a short note. We review every report and take listings offline while we check them.
