OUR HISTORY
Chairman Abdul Latif established International Automotive Engineers (Pvt) Ltd. in 1954. The company was a small 300-square-foot space dedicated to repairing maintenance tools, machinery, and industrial equipment.
Over the next three decades, it built a reputation for delivering premium services across various sectors in Pakistan, including catering to the tractor industry. This includes serving Al-Ghazi Tractors Limited, the producers of New Holland Tractors in Pakistan.
Abdul Latif made history when he introduced Karachi’s first locally manufactured central lathe in 1961.
By 1978, the company had diversified its offerings to include engine manufacturing and servicing equipment, which introduced more than six models of grinding machines and boring cylinders into the auto sector.
Expansion and Family Involvement
Presently owned by the Latif family, Abdul’s sons joined the business to sustain their father’s legacy of mechanical engineering excellence.
From 1997 onwards, International Automotive Engineers Pvt. Ltd started making gears and transmissions for regional OEMs, including Al-Ghazi Tractors Ltd, a leading manufacturer of New Holland tractors.
Subsequently, by 2001, International Automotive Engineers Pvt. Limited was manufacturing gear parts plus differentials and now is the sole manufacturer of the whole transmission parts for Al Ghazi tractors.
